We're getting closer to truly tapping into social sentiment as a way of personalizing content, rather than just matching like with like. Samsung approached us to develop concepts that use more nuanced social information to provide experiences that border on magical. We tackled augmented reality, seamless device handoffs, and emotionally intelligent computing to develop concepts for the next generation of social services.
Samsung's deep expertise in hardware development created an ideal opportunity to spec out extremely sophisticated services that would be impossible from almost any other competitor. Truly a blank-sheet project, we studied millenials to understand where existing social experiences weren't meeting their needs or expectations. We developed extensive frameworks to understand Social Sentiment and how it could fulfill those unmet needs. Our service concepts then detailed out the hardware, data, and use-case requirements needed to move forward with development and experimentation.
